Both Rabbid Luigi and Rabbid Peach were unaffected by the SupaMerge's corrupted energy despite being merged with objects earlier and make their way to find the Rabbid with the SupaMerge named Spawny. They managed to get a glimpse of the vortex that formed which was referred to as the Megabug. As they travel, they meet with Luigi who is fending off the Pirrabbid Plant and joins them to defeat it and Luigi joins them, but the MegaBug grows in size. Going further, they meet Bowser Jr. who befriends Spawny and summons Rabbid Kong to deal with them, but he was defeated and Rabbid Peach knocks over the tower despite Mario's insistence not to do so.
Sherbet Desert[]
They head to Sherbet Desert where they solve various puzzles while dealing with the brainwashed Rabbids. They find Rabbid Mario having been frozen in ice and he would soon be freed and befriends Mario. During their exploration through the desert, Bowser Jr. agitates Spawny to cause him to create Sandy and Blizzy. As a result, all of the members are imprisoned in ice by Blizzy, only for Princess Peach to appear and free both Mario and the other partner while the third member remains trapped up until Blizzy and Sandy are defeated, and they are also set free.
Spooky Trails[]
In Spooky Trails, the heroes find the Moon Gate, where they were told to find the Relics of Goodness, a gramophone and a Boo-shaped balloon, under the instruction of a mysterious third party who wants them to wake up a being named "Tom Phan" who they claim has the power to defeat Bowser Jr. Once they find the relics but did not open the gate, they learn that they need a full moon to open the gate. They find Calavera, who is holding Rabbid Yoshi hostage whom they managed to defeat and Rabbid Yoshi joins the team. They find a clock tower and reversed time to get the full moon back into position, opening the Moon Gate. They later find out that it is actually Bowser Jr. himself, who confronts them in a theater. Bowser Jr. scares Spawny, causing him to fuse a Rabbid with the Relics of Goodness to create the Phantom, who then sings an insulting song about Mario and his series, which they then defeat him.
Lava Pit[]
They head to the Lava Pit where they find the volcano converted into a base of operations by Bowser Jr. During their expedition, they find Bowser Jr. in his Mecha Jr. Once they destroy the machine, Spawny accidentally fell off seemingly to his doom, much to Jr.'s dismay and he leaves. Spawny is rescued by Yoshi and the former seems to regret kickstarting the events. As they attempt to leave the crystal mines, Spawny falls into a trance and is attracted to the MegaBug, who has gained enough strength to gain a phoenix form and is absorbed into it and heads to Bowser's Castle. Jr. returns to chastise the heroes for letting Spawny fall victim only to get a text from his father that he returned home early from vacation. Alarmed, Jr. heads to the castle, fearing Bowser would be in danger. The heroes encounter Bwario and Bwaluigi along with the Lava Queen and defeat them before confronting the MegaBug, who fuses with Bowser to become MegaDragonBowser, with the heroes' efforts, they were able to free Bowser from the MegaBug and combine their ammunition to destroy the entity and close the rift, freeing Spawny. Bowser Jr. is grateful for their help in saving his father and promises to do somewhat better and attempts to have them explain to Bowser what happened, but they return to Princess Peach's castle to celebrate their freedom and a statue of Rabbid Peach is inaugurated. After this, Beep-0 sends a letter to his past self with weapons through the Time Washing Machine, revealing that F.B. is actually Future Beep-0.
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope[]
Mushroom Kingdom (Prologue)[]
Shortly before the story even begins, Rabbid Luigi steals Rabbid Mario's overalls and hid them in a bush, leading Rabbid Mario to hide in a bush and refuses to come out. Luigi did some investigating and questions his Rabbid counterpart about their whereabouts which Rabbid Luigi tells him that the ones he is wearing are his. Once Mario finds them, Rabbid Luigi confessed to being the thief and did that because he wanted to be the only Rabbid to wear overalls. After Rabbid Mario gets them back, Rabbid Luigi realized that he should have put them in a better hiding place which Rabbid Mario interprets as him wanting to be like him but only one of them can look good in alternatives to pants. Just as everyone was about to settle down, a Luma-Rabbid hybrid collides with Mario and the Darkmess Manta arrives, spreading Darkmess on the kingdom, and Rabbid Peach is captured, leading Mario and Beep-0, with Princess Peach's help to go out to save her. Later Rabbid Luigi joins the heroes aboard the WM ARC to enter the Darkmess Dimension to save Mario, Rabbid Peach, and Beep-0 from a monstrous entity known as Cursa.
After escaping, they meet JEANIE, who pilots the ship and was invented by Beep-0 and recently been given an empathy module, though she has yet to become fully sentient. Starburst enters the room, with Rabbid Luigi noticing how cute and little it was. JEANIE reveals that creatures like Starburst were the result of the fusion between Lumas and Rabbids, and Princess Peach notes that Rosalina would never have allowed this to happen, which Starburst reacts that Rosalina is in danger because of Cursa and pleads them to help her. Beep-0 wanted to call the creatures Rabbid Lumas, but everyone insisted on calling them Sparks.
Beacon Beach[]
When they arrive at Beacon Beach, which is suffering from a strange rainfall, they are almost attacked by its warden, Augie, who believed them to be unruly. Augie tells them to leave, but they insist that they are heroes and want to help out, and he shows them that the lighthouse has been infected with the Darkmess Tentacle that is keeping light from shining on the beach and the local Rabbids civilians are stuck inside their homes due to the presence of Bob-ombs. Once the Bob-ombs were taken care of, one of the Rabbids release a Spark named Twinkle, who flees to a beacon, making the Sunrise Temple emerge from the water and heads inside. Rabbid Luigi and his friends follow it inside, unaware that a sinister Rabbid followed them inside. As they get past the temple's obstacles, they catch up with Twinkle, who was afraid of them, until they assure it that they wish to help it, until the Darkmess Tentacle snags it. After going through the first phase of the battle to reach it, Twinkle is suddenly pursued by the Stooges and two of them block the way, but they were immediately defeated by Rabbid Mario. Just as the Stooges were about to catch Twinkle, the Flying Blade bursts out of the waterfall and slays it before it returns to its owner, who walks out confidently and gestures disapprovingly before going all out against them when they attempt to attack her. Rabbid Luigi is enthusiastic over it as she slays the last Stooge and continues to admire her as she coaxes Twinkle in an assuring way, before they have to deal with the Giant Wildclaw. With the Darkmess Tentacle destroyed, Beep-0 informs the ominous looking Rabbid that they need Twinkle to reactivate the lighthouse and Augie arrives to congratulate them, but becomes scared upon seeing the dark Rabbid, calling her a Spark Hunter. The Rabbid corrects him by introducing herself as Edge and insists on being called just that and takes up the offer to join them to help save the galaxy. They head to the lighthouse where they destroyed the Darkmess Tentacle, restoring light to the planet. Augie warns them about Cursa's ringleaders known as the Spark Hunters, and threatened the inhabitants if he doesn't give them the Sparks and they assure him that they will bring them to justice.
Pristine Peaks[]
They head to Pristine Peaks where they noticed that it was suffering from extreme cold and a harsh blizzard that threatens all life and to become an uninhabitable wasteland. After landing, they make their way up the mountain to deal with the Darkmess Tentacle that is affecting the weather. Once it is destroyed, the storm came to an end and Rabbid Luigi helps his friends make a snowman and noticed that the path to Winter Palace has opened. They free Captain Orion, who is distressed over the safety of the girl he knows his impressed within. They run into a ghost Rabbid named Midnite, which Edge confirms that this Rabbid is one of Cursa's Spark Hunters. After a few more encounters, they confront her at the library where the Darkmess Tentacle was and are surprised that Midnite is paying special attention to Edge and learn that they know each other, though Edge shuts down the conversation. As they go through the tentacle, Captain Orion is immediately captured when he tried to approach Rabbid Rosalina, prompting the latter to fight back. After Midnite is defeated, Rabbid Rosalina is reunited with Captain Orion and Rabbid Mario spits on his hand and tries to high-five Rabbid Luigi, who pulls away, resulting in him falling down. Edge spares Midnite, who flees sorrowfully. Rabbid Rosalina was reluctant on the thought of joining the heroes, since she wants to find Rosalina, the person she desires to meet, but chooses to since they are also searching for the same person and vows to make Captain Orion proud.
Palette Prime[]
Rabbid Luigi is part of the meeting as they approach Palette Prime, known for its wondrous autumn nature, however, it too fell victim to the Darkmess that Cursa caused, and it caused the forest to be drained of color and life and Paletteville is under attack by unknown assailants. The heroes were able to destroy the Darkmess Tentacle, they head through the shortcut through the basement in Woodrow's house, allowing them to enter the town and they find that the town was endangered by two brawlers, Bowser and Bedrock who are locked in a fight and it wasn't long before they noticed familiar faces; Bowser seeing Mario and Bedrock seeing Edge, and Bowser headbutts her before being thrown into the tentacle with her following him. With her unfamiliarity with Bowser, Edge asks about him, while confirming that Bedrock is a Spark Hunter. Beep-0 explains that Bowser wasn't a friend since he kidnaps Peach a lot and feuds with Mario and his friends in general. They head to the Darkmess Tentacle to aid Bowser and grants him the Bowzooka to allow him to fight back. Once Bedrock is defeated, she escapes on the ship that arrived. Bowser explains his presence that he is looking for Cursa, since it mind-controlled his minions, and he wants them back.
Terra Flora[]
As they approach Terra Flora, JEANIE reveals that they are now in range of Cursa's Stronghold but runs into a problem that it is well protected by a barrier that deters intruders. Beep-0 asks Edge if she knew anything about dealing with them but starts to zero in on her about what she is hiding since she knows the Spark Hunters, but she ends up becoming riled up and telling him off for prying into her business, which he then backs off. Once they arrive, they noticed that Terra Flora is on the verge of a drought that threatens floral life and with Bea's guidance, she directs them to the train engineer Sullivan, who gives them a ride on the Wiggler Train to reach Mt. Spout, a water volcano that brings the planet life. A real Wiggler infested with Darkmess pursues them in hot rage and Rabbid Luigi is the first to take notice and warn the others, while Sullivan speeds up the train, but Wiggler catches up again, forcing them to fight back. After escaping from it, they arrived at Mt. Spout where they destroyed the Darkmess Tentacle there, allowing the water volcano to erupt with most of the heroes trapped in bubbles before they naturally fall free. Bea tells them that Momma, the warden at Barrendale Mesa would help with making a weapon that would help deal with the shields.
Barrendale Mesa[]
The heroes make their way to Barrendale Mesa where it was once full of abundant life until the Rabbids arrived and used up all the resources before leaving, while JEANIE points out that Momma is still living on the planet, and she might create a Shield Breaker to deal with the barrier around Cursa's Stronghold, which happens to be close by. Edge becomes worried about having to potentially confront the sneakiest of the Spark Hunters. Due to the electric storm, the WM ARC is unable to properly land meaning that they would have to jump from high ground. Rabbid Luigi, Rabbid Mario, Rabbid Peach, and Rabbid Rosalina land on a giant balloon, but Bowser's sharp claws end up destroying it. Their entrance has miffed Momma, whose garage is closed due to harsh weather conditions and couldn't help them, but instead instructs them to head to the malfunctioning windmill if they were that serious about getting her help and points out that they could have prepared parachutes instead to prevent unintentional property damage. Once the windmill is fixed, they receive a transition from "Momma" who tells them to return to the garage, but once they do, they find out that it was a trap and "Momma" was really Daphne in disguise and traps them in the Darkmess Dimension, but they each managed to beat her. Cursa then arrives to confront the heroes but ends up immobilized and with an explosion of light, Rosalina herself emerges, to Rabbid Rosalina's joy as Rosalina uses her wand to open a portal for them to escape before she is recorrupted by Cursa and Edge leads everyone out of the Dimension. With everyone disoriented with Rosalina's true fate, with how the events through a Purified Darkmess Crystal revealing what kick started the events, Momma assures them that they are united, hope is on their side, and Rosalina is counting on them.
Melodic Gardens[]
In The Last Spark Hunter, as they make their way to Cursa's stronghold, they find that Melodic Gardens have gone silent, and they change course to investigate what was happening there. After saving the members, they meet with Allegra who is the warden of the planet, who explains that the silence is threatening Melodic Garden's existence and one of the Spark Hunters is responsible for its state, which left Edge confused as she states that they have defeated all of them. Upon meeting Kanya, Edge states that she does not know who she is at all. Sometime later, after getting past all the obstacles, Rabbid Luigi clings to Bowser, trying to hold not to cry, ends up crying in despair as Allegra is comforting a Dorrie who is trapped in a cage, who is a special friend. They help Allegra free Dorrie and work with her to defeat Kanya once and for all. Allegra is grateful for their work and restored harmony to the planet. They leave to Cursa's stronghold.
Cursa's Stronghold[]
Upon arrival, the team used the Shield Breakers to destroy the barrier around Cursa's Stronghold which reveals that it was the Comet Observatory, to everyone's dismay over how low Cursa went to attack the symbol of hope in the galaxy. They land on the debris of the shields where they find Darkmess Puddles, one containing Darkmess Bowser and the other containing Darkmess Edge. After defeating all of them, Rabbid Luigi is shocked to learn that Edge was created by Cursa and the former leader of the Spark Hunters, but due to Edge's heroism, Rabbid Luigi provides comfort to help ease her worst fears. During the battle with Cursa, they destroy its hands and attack the broken star until it couldn't contain the drained Sparks, releasing them as well as Rosalina, who then partakes in the battle. With Cursa being weakened further, Rabbid Rosalina stands in-between her friends and Cursa, but the drained Sparks do their part and turn themselves into a laser to severely wound Cursa and the heroes all combine their strength along with Rosalina merging them into a single golden arrow to completely destroy entity once and for all.
Mushroom Kingdom (Epilogue)[]
Rosalina is completely grateful to the heroes for their help in saving her and the galaxy and she even restored the lost energy to the Sparks who fell victim to Cursa, proving that energy cannot be destroyed, but altered. Both Rabbid Rosalina and Edge choose to stay with the heroes when offered to join her on the Comet Observatory. Rabbid Luigi, Rabbid Peach, and Rabbid Mario are toying around with a grumpy Bowser, which Mario tries to stop them, but was too late when Bowser unleashes a fire ball to throw them off.
The Tower of Doooom[]
When it was revealed that Spawny, one of the heroes' old friends was imprisoned in a place that belongs to Madame Bwahstrella, called The Tower of Doooom, Rabbid Luigi and his friends head through ten floors and after defeating the giant enemy on the tenth floor Spawny is freed and has gained the confidence to go on his own, knowing that his friends will have his back in his time of need.
Rayman in the Phantom Show[]
Rabbid Luigi makes a small cameo in this DLC where he witnessed Rabbid Mario showing a gift to Mario, containing Rayman's hoodie.
Personality[]
Similar to his fellow Rabbids, Rabbid Luigi is playful, mischievous, and curious. However he shares common traits with Luigi, such as being easily frightened, clumsy, and preferring to avoid conflict. Rabbid Luigi also seems to be friendlier and more polite than his fellow Rabbids, waving at Peach, and being courteous. However, he still shares his species' love of committing chaos. He also takes note of his human companions' reactions to anything his fellow Rabbids would find amusing. For instance, when he laughed at Rabbid Peach knocking over the block tower, he stopped when he saw Mario was not laughing. He also stopped clapping when he saw Mario and Luigi were shocked over the Time Washing Machine's disappearance along with Rabbid Peach and Beep-0.
Powers and abilities[]
In Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, he has average offense and mobility, as well as great defense. Rabbid Luigi's primary weapon is the Bworb, a yo-yo with several elemental abilities (such as fire, stone, and vampire) but low weapon damage (unless it is boosted with Mario's M-power). Rabbid Luigi's secondary weapon is the Rocket, a long-range RPG-7-esque weapon that fires missiles.
Rabbid Luigi has a unique dash known as the "Vamp Dash", which deals a certain amount of damage (maximum 160) and heals a percentage of the damage (maximum 100%). It also heals other nearby teammates, regardless of whether or not they have a weapon that has a high chance of inflicting the Vamp status effect. Rabbid Luigi's first special ability is Super Barrier, which can protect him from Super Effects. Like Rabbid Mario's Bodyguard ability, it can be used with Peach's Protection ability to reduce the damage taken greatly. Rabbid Luigi's second special ability is Weaken, which decreases the damage dealt by nearby enemies by a certain percentage (maximum 70%). This, too, can be used in tandem with the Protection ability to reduce afflicted damage from enemies.
Rabbid Luigi also appears in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. This time, he is now using a new weapon, called The Discrupter, which is a freesbee that can hit multiple enemies in a row.
