Kassidy Vale is a character from Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. She only appears during the introductory cutscene and the ending of the Donkey Kong Adventure DLC, where it is shown that she is the inventor of the SupaMerge, the device that sets the events of Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle in motion. Judging by her room, she is a fan of the Mario series.
History[]
She invented the SupaMerge attempting to solve an energy crisis, but it had a problem with overheating. As she left to take a break, the Rabbids showed up in their Time Washing Machine. Spawny, one of the Rabbids, found the SupaMerge, and used it to fuse other Rabbids with several objects in the room, causing him to accidentally create Rabbid Peach and Rabbid Mario. Spawny then hit the Time Washing Machine, causing it to malfunction and teleport the girl's robot assistant Beep-0 and the Rabbids to the Mushroom Kingdom.
Before she went for a break, in one of the screens of her computers also hint not only the SupaMerge is supposed to combine two things into one to make one to fix an energy crisis, but it also shows some kind of wormhole, indicating that she was also trying to rip into other dimensions. That could be the reason why the Rabbids and Beep-0 entered the Mario universe. Indicating that the SupaMerge is capable of merging other realities.
In Sparks of Hope, while Kassidy doesn't make an appearance, she sends a message via memory that JEANIE receives when the player reaches 100% completion. In the message, Kassidy reveals that she invented Beep-O and is proud at him for going from an assistant to a hero. She also mentions that JEANIE and Beep-0 have a lot in common, though JEANIE is unable to identify who sent the letter.
Appearance[]
Physically, Kassidy appears as a young adult, she has dirty blonde hair with pink tips and a side-cut on her right side, it is unknown what her eye colors are, and a full face. Only shown her right side of her face
Kassidy's outfit kind of resembles that of Mario; his iconic red and blue colors, as known and shown to be a big fan of the franchise. However, she has a noticeable difference of how she wears it. She wears a red jacket with striped sleeves, a white shirt underneath the jacket with a Super Star in the middle, and her blue overalls, to which are much more saggy than Mario's, and she leaves one strap unbuttoned on her right side. When working on her inventions, she wears a white and dark blue patterned gloves, and for footwear, she uses black, yellow, and white boots.
It is shown at the beginning that Kassidy has never been seen with her face to the audience in the beginning, with the exception when the post-credits reveal her in the DLC of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle: Donkey Kong Adventure.
