Zak is a very strange alien-obsessed teenager who thinks that the Rabbids are evil and a recurring character of the Rabbids Invasion. He thinks the Rabbids are a threat and wants to get rid of them, but he isn't good at it. As of season 4 however, he becomes an ally to the Rabbids, as he tracks down the submarine in hopes of returning three Rabbids to it and learning more about it, 17 year old teenagers boy zak.

Appearance[]

He wears glasses, a red and blue shirt, and has blond hair, brown eyes, large nose, eyebrows, He also wears light brown cargo shorts showing his light underwear with orange spots, blue flip flop.

Personality[]

Zak is a somewhat geeky teenager who has a paranoid obsession with the Rabbids who he believes are aliens plotting to take over the Earth. He somewhat oblivious to the Rabbids' stupidity due to his paranoia and conspiracy theories. However despite his flaws, he is a good person at heart and only wishes to protect himself, his loved ones, and the rest of humanity from what he views as a serious threat, as shown when he tried to protect his "mother" when he thought she had been turned into a Rabbid.[1], he is shown to be socially awkward and has a crush on his next-door-neighbor, Zoe.[2]

Appearances[]

Season 2[]

Zak made his first appearance in Rabbid Invaders where he thinks the Rabbids are taking over the world, so he attempts to spread the word, but when that fails he attempts to record them for proof for them to be taken away. Thankfully the Rabbids manage to get away from him. He then vows to expose them one day.

He then returns in Mother Rabbid, where he thinks his mom got turned into a Rabbid when a Rabbid has swallowed a walkie talkie, so he tries to fix it but refuses to let him leave until the point of this problem turned out to be a kidnapping, the Rabbids quickly chase him in his car until he goes off the speed limit and causes the car to crash. The Rabbid then returns home while officer Jacques Garrett returns Zak to his angry mother.

In Love-Struck Rabbid, He tries to get rid of the Rabbids (while one falls in love with him). Both for the “safety” of the Earth and for the sake of stopping them from getting bad attention to his crush Zoe. In the end, Zak gets to hang out with Zoe. Which might mean that he finally calmed down about the Rabbids. But this doesn't mean that the Rabbid who fell in love with him is over it.

In An Intruder Among the Rabbids he tries to disguise himself as a Rabbid to stop them in their “domination” plans, but this ends up backfiring.

In Rabbid Test Pilot he is the main protagonist. He finally decides to leave the entire conspiracy theories to rest and do something else, like playing with his cat, Oscar. However, this changes when the Scientist Rabbid steals his cat.

In Buddy Rabbids, he concludes a theory after seeing a Rabbid befriend a doll.

In Glow Rabbid, Zak kidnaps the Rabbid so he can analyze his DNA so he can "save" the world. However, it backfires when he tries to analyze him, the Rabbid's self glowing ability causes his radio to make music rather than electricity. It then causes Zak's entire house to glow. He tries to grab the Rabbid but misses and allows the Rabbid to escape.

In Rabbid Amnesia, Zak wakes up in the desert with amnesia and uses a video he made to help retrace his steps.

Season 3[]

In Teleportarabbids, He's seen in the desert wanting a car to pick him up and sees Sir Roland and the Future Drone.

In Rabbid Nightmare, He goes camping with his Grandma.

In Rabbid Soundtrack, He listens to some rock music and gets crushed by the TV Time Machine.

In Rabbid Handcuffs, While talking to Zoe, A criminal Rabbid takes his skateboard injuring him.

In Rabbid Heatwave Part 1, He sees how beloved the Rabbids have become and is terrifying.

In Rabbid Heatwave Part 2, Zak realizes how popular the Rabbids have become and thinks that they're planning to take over the earth is succeeding and heads to a news station where he makes a fool of himself.

Season 4[]

Zak (and Zoe) finally return in Rabbid Special Unit, where three Rabbids fall on their truck, all three of the Rabbids are being hunted by the special unit, Zak and Zoe decide to help them

In Rabbid Exfiltration, he attempts to save a Rabbid from the special unit

In The Great Rabbid Escape, Zak gets kidnapped by Otto Torx but is luckily saved by three Rabbids.

In Ghost-Rabbid, After being told by Zoe that the Flying Submarine is in a cemetery which also has an opera Rabbid stuck there, he later comes across Rooney who wants to exterminate the opera Rabbid he thinks is a ghost, he then stopped by Zak and the opera Rabbid finally goes back to the submarine.

In Aztec Rabbids, He and two of his Rabbids are kidnapped by tribal Rabbids until it is revealed to be a movie by Mad Rabbid.

In Rabbid Mutation, He tries to prevent a Rabbid from drinking an energy drink, it later saves him after two Rabbids drink them.

In Rabb-Attack, Zak stays with Bridget Barnes (forcefully) while three of his Rabbids and Dumbar attempt to rescue The President.

In Rabbid Riddle, Zak records videos that the special unit watches.

In Rabbid Getaway, Zak and the Rabbids end up on a mad man's farm, the mad man later tries to eat the Rabbids who escape Zak beats up the mad man but is later thrown where the Rabbids are, they later escape.

In The Attack of the Rabbid Flies, Zak and Zoe see the Flying Submarine on TV about to destroy the town, Zak and the Rabbids head there and go inside the Submarine where they deactivate the attack, however, they soon come across Mad Rabbid who's fused with a fly, they later undue but they soon see eggs in the Change-O-Rama which hatch and attack the city, during Zak giving a speech about how the Rabbids aren't harmful, they are soon stopped and the three Rabbids finally get back to their Sub and even make a drawing of him and the Rabbids.

Relationships[]

The Rabbids[]

At first, Zak was against the Rabbids thinking they were trying to take over the world, but since season 4 he has seen them as misunderstood and sees them as friends

Zoe[]

At first, Zak was too scared to talk to her but soon thanks to a Rabbid he finally talks to her and as of season 4,Zoe is now his girlfriend

Mad Rabbid[]

They only shared one scene in one episode and Mad wasn't very fond of him

Bridget Barnes[]

He and Bridget haven't been on good terms, Bridget usually thinks low of him as a juvenile, sometimes he and the Rabbids would frustrate her

Rooney[]

Zak wasn't a fan of Rooney when they first met as Rooney threw a rock at a Rabbid, he later felt a bit awkward after Rooney recognizes him.

Trivia[]

  • Zak's beliefs about the Rabbids can be seen as a tongue-in-cheek reference to the plot Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 when the Rabbids invaded the Earth.
  • It can also be seen as ironic as the Rabbids are depicted as antagonistic alien invaders in the video games, yet are treated as the somewhat benign inhabitants of Earth (and possibly the Moon) in the TV series.
  • Because he and Alice share the same grandmother, it's possible they are cousins.[3]
  • Zak's model was reused for three characters, the Minstrel who accompanies Sir Roland, Rooney, and a character who is simply known as Steve
